القَلْبُ يَهْوَى : وَ العَقْلُ يُفَكِّرُ

غَرَائِزٌ لَا تُنْسَى : وَ شَهَوَاتٌ لَا تَحْتَمِلُ

كَيْفَ أَطيْبَ : وَ أنَا فَقِيرُ

أعْطِنِي مَا لَدَيْكَ : حَتّى أطِيْرُ

فِي السَمَاءِ العُلا : مِنْ دُوْنِ نَظِيرُ

وَ عِزَّتِيَ وَ جَلَالَتِيَ : لَنْ أنْسَاكِ مَهْمَا طَالَ الزَمَانُ

فَالحُبُّ نَارَ : لَا تَنْطَفِئُ أبَدَاً شُعْلَتَهُ

حَلِّقِي يَا ذَاتَ النِطَاقَينَ : حُرَةٌ بَرِيْئةٌ كَمَثَلِ الطَيْرِ الوَلْهَانُ

Translation:


Heart fantasizes : And mind thinks

Instincts never forgotten : And desires never tolerable

How can I be at my best : And I am poor

Give me what you got : So that I can fly

In the surmounted sky : Without any rival

يَا مَنْ رَآكِ أو سَمِعَ ضَحَكَاتُكِ : أنْ يَتَمَنَّى فَقَطْ حُبُّكِ وَ السَعَادةُ لَكِ
